PREPAREDNESS
Aims:
This course
aims to provide participants with the knowledge and practical
skills to interpret and implement disaster preparedness and
response principles in their organisations.
Outcomes:
By the
end of this training session, participants will be able to:
- Identify
disaster management standards and guidelines.
- Identify
potential threats to an organisation's records.
- Identify
vital records.
- Provide
a brief outline of key disaster preparedness steps.
- Identify
disaster preventative and preparatory measures that can
be taken to protect records.
- Explain
response and recovery actions to be taken in the event of
a disaster.
- Identify
records salvage priorities and methodologies.
- Outline
and explain key requirements of a disaster recovery and
response plan.
- Identify
the methodology and requirements for conducting a post-implementation
review and ongoing compliance monitoring of a disaster management
plan.
