RISK MANAGEMENT
Aims:
This course
aims to provide participants with the background skills and
knowledge required to identify, analyse, evaluate, treat,
monitor and review risks to information within an organisation.
The course takes a hands-on approach to risk management, providing
participants with several opportunities to apply the skills
and knowledge learnt through practical activities and exercises.
Outcomes:
By the
end of this training session, participants will be able to:
- Define
'risk management' and 'information risk management'.
- Assess
benefits of managing records.
- Identify
risks associated with not managing records.
- Identify
sources of risk within an organisation.
- Explain
the risk management framework.
- Develop
strategies to identify, analyse, evaluate, treat, monitor
and review risks within an organisation.
Participants
are provided with a course booklet and additional handouts.
