Aims:

This course provides participants with the knowledge and skills to develop training techniques, including identifying training needs, preparing, designing, delivering and reviewing training sessions. Participants will be given the opportunity practice techniques learnt during the session through hands-on exercises and activities.

Outcomes:

By the end of this training session, participants will be able to:

• Identify training needs.
• Write a session plan.
• Design and tailor a training session to meet training needs.
• Deliver a training session using appropriate presentation methods, training aids and resources.
• Review and evaluate training.
• Promote training.

Participants are provided with a course booklet and additional handouts.
